DESCRIPTION
ULTRAPAINT a coating formulated to withstand Florida’s
tropical sun, wind, rain and mildew. It’s use
for exterior stucco and other masonry surfaces, and for
interior plaster walls, ceilings and drywalls, makes painting
a pleasant task. ULTRAPAINT is washable, durable,
and mildew resistant . . . and clean-up with soapy water
is without fuss or mess.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Thoroughly clean surface by removing all foreign matter,
oil, grease, mildew, chalk, loose, scaling, cracked and
blistered paint from previously coated surfaces. New
coatings may peel if applied to a chalky surface.
If chalk is not easily removable or if there is any efflorescence,
coat surface with USP-1144 penetrating masonry sealer.
Dig out and patch cracks, nail, holes, and etc. with FLEX-LOK
USP-440 vinyl sealant. Application is easier on a
damp surface. Wet exterior surface thoroughly but let water
run off so it will damp, not wet.
APPLICATION
ULTRAPAINT is a ready to use paint. Use brush, roller or
spray equipment to apply a generous, even coat. For
roller application a 7 to 9 inch polyester fiber roller
is recommended along with a brush to “cut in”
corners, a roller will not reach. Two coats are recommended
after first coat is dry. Never apply when temperature
is below 50 º F and do not let contests freeze. Do
not mix with any other type of paint, colors in oil, or
paint thinner. Wash tools in soapy water immediately
after use. Never wash fresh latex-type paints for
at least one week.
COVERAGE
Up to 200-250 square feet per gallon, one coat, depending
upon surface and color.
