DESCRIPTION
Ultraseal’s Non-Blushing Clear Water Based Wet-Look Sealer
for masonry is a single component translucent liquid designed
specifically for exterior surfaces such as stamped concrete, exposed
aggregates, stone and other concrete surfaces. The product
will protect and provide an economical and durable surface.
WHERE TO USE
Ultraseal’s Non-Blushing Clear Water based Sealer
for masonry, when applied to a prepared surface takes on and retains
a “wet look”. This also emphasizes the natural
colors of the substrate. The product will also provide good
abrasion resistance.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Product should be applied over clean surface. Remove grease,
grime, dirt and other foreign materials that will interfere with
penetration and adhesion. In some cases acid etching may
be necessary.
APPLICATION
Product can be applied by brush, roller, pad application, pump
up or airless sprayer. For roller application, use a 3/8”
– 1⁄2” non-shedding hair type nap roller. When
spraying, adjust nozzle to the widest spray pattern and spray
the sealer with a broad sweeping motion just until it begins to
wet the surface. Do not over apply or soak the concrete
or allow the product to puddle or pool. A lightly sprayed
coat is all that is necessary. Do not apply when surface or air
temperature is below 50º F or above 95º F. In highly humid
situations, anticipate a longer cure time. Do not apply
in extreme heat of day or in direct, hot sunlight. Do not
apply product if rain is likely to occur within 24 hours or if
moisture and dew is present on the surface. Cover and protect
all vegetation and surrounding areas that will not be coated.COVERAGE:
Is between 200-300 square feet per gallon depending surface porosity
or smoothness.
